Kevin Harden, Jr.

Kevin Harden, Jr.Kevin Harden, Jr. is a trial lawyer and former prosecutor whose practice focuses on white collar defense, internal investigations, government investigations, and complex civil and commercial litigation.

Kevin has conducted dozens of jury trials to verdict. Additionally, he has represented professionals, business executives, and companies of all sizes in sensitive and potentially embarrassing matters.

Prior to joining Eckert Seamans, Kevin directed investigations as a lead prosecutor assigned to an organized crime task-force created by the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office. The task force implemented the acclaimed “Focused Deterrence” program in South Philadelphia. The program was credited as a significant contributing factor to Philadelphia’s 47-year-low homicide tally in 2014.

A lifelong Philadelphia, Kevin was educated in Philadelphia’s public school system before earning a Bachelor’s of Science from the Kutztown University of Pennsylvania and his Juris Doctorate from the Temple University Beasley School of Law.

Executive Committee, Federal Bar Association Criminal Law Committee; and

Commissioner, the Mayor’s Commission on African-American Males.

Kevin also volunteers his time as a reading mentor with the Philadelphia Reads program and as a self-defense instructor for domestic violence victims and teenage girls in his role as a co-captain of the Philadelphia National Karate Team. Recently, Kevin was profiled by Billy Penn as one of the next leaders of the Philadelphia legal community and as a Lawyer on the Fast Track by the Legal Intelligencer.
